Collaborate

My blogging experience so far has primarily been a solo mission, but I would love to join forces and collaborate with anyone working with or interested in archives and records!

I am very much a new professional, and I’m particularly eager to collaborate with other new professionals and those thinking of a career in archives. I would love to explore the archival professional identity, being a new professional, and exploring the experiences of other new archive professionals.

I am also  hugely interested in digital preservation, and it forms a large part of my day job as an archivist. I have been fortunate so far to write some guest blog posts about digitisation companies R3:store Studios and TownsWeb Archiving, and also to work on a set of Guidelines for Community Archives. I would love to continue exploring how all things digital are affecting and influencing the work of archivists.
